Il Torrino is a historical dwelling within the walls of the medieval town of Barberino Val d' Elsa. The house is attached to a small but ancient defence tower called "il Torrino" that forms part of the walls of the town going back to the 13th century. The ground floor of the apartment comprises a spacious dining room and dayroom. Equipped with a fridge, freezer, stove and dishwasher, the dining room is characterised above all by the presence of the kitchen which is within the small tower. The dayroom has a bed/settee, two armchairs, fireplace and a large window with panoramic views of the Chianti hills. There is also a laundry on the ground floor. The upper floor of the apartment has a large bedroom with double bed and small "en suite" bathroom. There is an additional bedroom with two beds and large bathroom comprising bath with shower, toilet, bidet and sink. From the large bedroom there is access to the attic and a balcony which faces onto a square, very typical of the town. The whole house has been tastefully restored, arranged with period furniture and well cared for in all its details. Guests will be delighted with the ample space in which to relax and enjoy the panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside. All guests will receive a welcome gift; a bottle of Chianti wine made by the Capone brothers on the Bernardello estate in Barberino Val d'Elsa.
